It took all of 3 minutes for Garamendi to get into his enviro whacko activism and start touting the great bipartisan atmosphere....

Go Tom!

I'm listening to the audio now. Right now he's railing against Proposition 1B.

Garamendi, of course, loves it.

I get CBS5 clear up here on my Whineguard "fringe area" antenna, but two and a half men was all I could see on their broadcast frequency... I get it, but it's really snowy and sometimes fades in and out.

Can your computer handle the video via internet?

You need to have FlashPlayer installed. I'm listening/wathcing online.
The videos are archived so you can watch them at your leisure.

Watch the last 10 minutes; that's when Garamendi gets slaughtered on Executive Life.

Great interview/debate. It's worth watching.

McClintock mopped up and nailed Garamendi on taxes, education, spending, Executive Life, etc.

Garamendi talked about his great record working with Arnie and implying Tom wasn't part of the "team" because he didn't stand with Arnold on Borrowing, Global Warming, Minimum Wage increases, Prescription Drugs, Stem-Cell... "and on and on and on." Garamendi's tone was a huge turnoff--Garamendi is really a pompous condescending ass!

Garamendi: "Education... is a national security issue."

Well, I suppose it's true, but not in the way he meant it (churning out a hate-America crowd).

Tom was interesting in dealing with Executive Life. He dwelt on individual cases for so long I was afraid he wouldn't get to the big picture, but when he did...

ouch. :-)

Thanks for the ping and the post.

Garamendi sure is impressed with himself.
That smarmy, modulated, patronizing tone.
His constant, condescending digs of "Tom, if you'd bothered to read..."
"Tom, if you actually understood..."

And Tom sitting there so respectful ~ I wanted him to DECK Grrramendi.

Tom rattled him good, though.
I wish the Executive Life stuff had surfaced earlier, instead of the last 10 minutes.

I only hope folks bothering to watch this are more impressed with Tom's intelligence than Grrramendi's Dudley DoRight sham.
