Actually, it makes me furious that the pubbies didn't go all out to shove hitlery out of the senate this year. Two years in no man's land really marginalizes a politician - she'd have a very hard time launching for 2008.

The only candidate who'd have a chance of unseating Hillary is Guiliani, and he didn't want to do it.

So we mounted a token challenge. Kinda like the token challenge mounted by Democrats to take the senate seat in Texas.

Actually, I think there are many Republicans that want Hillary to get the nomination in 2008 to drag the Republican base to the polls for the benefit of the down ballot candidates.
