Can You Trust The National Media?

Can You Trust The National Media? INVESTOR'S BUSINESS DAILY Posted 10/20/2006

Part five in a series.

Our national media have become the national mouthpiece and protective watchdog for the Democratic Party and its agenda. Eighty-six percent of journalists vote Democratic in presidential elections. More than 300 key media posts are held by former aides, advisers, speechwriters, strategists or Democratic National Committee officials from Democratic administrations or political campaigns — near monopolistic control.

Journalists from Walter Cronkite to Dan Rather never told the public they were liberal, and they always denied any liberal bias in the media. They claimed they just reported the news. Yet as the Media Research Center states, "Since 1985, the percentage of Americans who perceive a liberal bias in the media has doubled from 22% to 45%. Even a plurality of Democrats now say the press is liberal."

You can trust them to proseletyze for a vaguely Marxist Eurosocialism that they consider too intellectual for the rest of to understand, which they learned in J School

I knew that Dan Rather was a lying sack of excrement the day the documents appeared on the internet.

One was written in accordance with today's correspondance guide, not one from the 60s.

Rather is pathetic.

The National Media is for people that want to feel they are informed without having to go through the tedious bother of actually being informed. The media is just entertainment with a 'newsy' feel that presents just enough information to pass as news of a sort without actually doing anything that may disturb someone and make them change the channel.

I trust Fox more than the others. While Fox is center, the others are left-winged. If only the republicans could have a pro-republican news network like the dems have

Yes!

If by "trust", you mean forge fraudulent federal documents to smear a candidate in a national election!

Effing communists! Spit! @*^@#

IMHO, Fox is just a little bit better than the execrement that we have been fed for 40 years. Fox just seems like a welcome relief, however, there is so much better work to be done.

Sawyer Relays NK Propaganda Blaming Bush & Touting 'Happiest Children in the World'

Posted by Brent Baker on October 20, 2006 - 03:17.

On Thursday's World News on ABC, Diane Sawyer checked in from North Korea, but she proved little more than a conveyor belt for the repressive communist regime's propaganda. Talking to a North Korean Army General, she relayed how “he said to us, 'make it clear to everyone in the United States, if there is another nuclear test, the person responsible is George Bush,' because he said, 'the Bush administration is backing North Korea into a corner with its pressures and its sanctions.'" Sawyer helpfully added that “the General said to us, he does want peace. And he also said, again, reiterated, North Korea will not be the first to use a nuclear weapon.” How reassuring.

In a second segment, Sawyer was taken to a school which she favorably described as “a world away from the unruly individualism of any American school." She gushed: “Ask them about their country, and they can't say enough." A teenage girl declared, in English: “We are the happiest children in the world.” Sawyer ended her piece with video of her and the class singing "Do-Re-Mi" from the Sound of Music. Far from being embarrassed by Sawyer's obsequious approach, anchor Charles Gibson proposed: "A fascinating glimpse of North Korea."

My father never voted but if he had he surely would have been Democrat. He loved Dan Rather. -.- Said that Rather always talked plainly and didn't see himself as better than other people.

Reversely even as a child I couldn't stand being in the room when he was on. I always found him to be condescending and that his plain talk was because he thought I was too dumb to understand anything else.

Well I'm not a rebel. After all my mother is a life-long registered Republican. XD

Trust? Sure!

I trust they are going to spin, slant, distort, promote political and social agendas, and continue to turn journalistic integrity into journalistic fraud.

Trust them??? (snort!) No way. why should I?
They are getting caught in one intentional
lie, smear or "hit job"..on an almost daily
basis.

The Left Stream Media are utterly untrustworthy.

Can You Trust The National Media?

If no one has said it yet, please allow me to be the first to say, "HELL NO!!!!!!!!" Any idiot with half a brain (which excludes all Liberals and Democrats since they apparently don't even have a quarter of the brain God gave them) knows that. Fox News is the only exception. Not because they're biased to the "right", but they sure as heck aren't biased to the "left" either. They've covered "fair and balanced" as well as one could expect in this world we live in.
