The Man the Left Wants to Beat (PA-07 - Curt Weldon)

TOPICS: Politics/Elections
KEYWORDS: curtweldon; elections; republicans
Take a look at a list of donors to Weldon's opponent: Madeleine Albright, former NSC advisors Sandy Berger (the docs in the socs guy), Tony Lake, former White House political director John Podesta, former CIA director John Deutch, Hillary Clinton's Political Action committee.

If you feel like you've had enough of dems providing North Korea with nuclear technology, turning down Sudan’s offer to extradite Bin Laden, and, most importantly, trying to cover up 9/11 - pitch in.

Below is the link to Curt's website http://www.curtweldon.org/.

The Clintonistas are obviously afraid of Weldon. At the very least, he's a threat to their carefully cultivated myth that they did a great job fighting terrorism.

I sent my contribution to Weldon's campaign awhile back. We need people in Congress who are willing to ask questions, even if they embarrass the Washington establishment.

I sent mine in couple of weeks ago as well. I just hope there are enough people in PA-07 that can see through.

I just wish some combination of Weldon-Tancredo could beat the party apparatus and take their deserved place as exemplars of Republicanism. Instead, we have mealy-mouthed egoists who place their neurotic needs in front of the common good.

Unfortunately, I think this is exactly because of Able Danger. Curt Weldon was the only other Republican (aside from GWB) Clinton mentioned in his Fox News interview: http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=52178

Just an fyi - an abstract from and a link to Shaffer's testimony:
"During the briefing [with Tony Shaffer], Congressman Weldon asked Russ Caso, his chief of staff, to call the 9/11 commission and find out if they (the 9/11 commission) had ever heard of ABLE DANGER. Mr. Caso left the room and called Chris Cojm at the 9/11 Discourse Project and asked him if they had ever “heard of something called ABLE DANGER”. Chris quickly checked and told Russ “Yes – we had heard of it” – Russ then asked him why they had not put it in their final report – Cojm’s answer was this “it did not fit with the story we wanted to tell”. Russ came back in and told Congressman Weldon and me of the comment. Both Congressman Weldon and I could not hide our astonished looks at hearing the news..."
