"Suspended"?
How about arrested and cuffed??
I hope this isn't going to be another case of the backroom-deal-making, spineless Republicans not knowing how to go for the throat again....

Let's see how long this investigation takes. Tick.... tick.... tick....

I hope the reason they suspended him is so the FBI can arrest him.

If this is true the staff member should be prosecuted under the Espionage Act and put in prison.

Make the headlines before the election? Aw, no way. The Foley penis posse will continue unabated.

The Democrats - ending the Republican Culture of Corruption by putting an impeached, convicted, and removed corrupt ex-judge as the Chairman of the Intelligence Committee. That sure would make me feel safe.

Staffers don't do this on their own. Whomever they work for should resign immediately.

Presently, the very Liberal Google News shows just nine stories on this subject.

why would you say that...if they can get their hands on the info they can do what they want. I realize the congressman the person worked for probably wouldn't have stopped them but there still is a question there...

Thats right. The buck stops at the top. In this case the congressman. He needs to resign for not controlling top secret information.

I think DOJ has everything to do with this. This congressman probably wants to get a jump on his defense.
I do not believe it was one lonely staffer. I also do not believe this staffer would be suspended now, unless something was about break wide open.

and where is the DOJ investigation this?

They're busy patting themselves on the back over their tough prosecution of Sandy Berger, the Clintonoid who stole classified documents from the National Archives and destroyed them. Plus, the DOJ is simply overwhelmed right now ignoring the Harry Reid scandal.

All this points to why it is so critical that the Republicans take back the White House in 2008. If Republicans were in control of the White House and the Executive branch, and therefore the Department of Justice, these crimes would be prosecuted to the fullest extent of.... Oh, wait-a-minute....

Nevermind.
