Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has called Israel a "countefeit and illegitimate regime that cannot survive", in a live broadcast on state television.

"The Zionist regime is counterfeit and illegitimate and cannot survive," he said in a spech to a crowd in the town of Islamshahr in southwestern Tehran.

"The big powers have created this fraud regime and allowed it to commit all kinds of crimes to guarantee their interests," he added.

Since he has called Israel the "Little Satan," and the United States the "Great Satan," if he feels this way about them, it goes to show how he feels about the United States.

This shows once again that the War on Terrorism is still the key issue that faces America.

North Korea and Iran, who's the biggest threat.

Terrorism is still the key issue (and should take center stage.)

Terrorism (and homelaned security) are still the key issues.

Ahmadinejad's words are evidence of this.

Who goes down first, Ahmadinejad or Israel?

I know where I'm putting my shekels...

Iran is the bigger threat. Muslims on a mission from God will never give up, or make peace with Infidels. -Tom

Looks like he's running out of material. This is almost verbatim of what he said in April:

"Logically, this fake regime cannot survive," Ahmadinejad told a news conference in the latest of a string of verbal attacks against Israel.

I believe that Iran is the bigger threat of the two.

Ahmadinejad has said publicly that he will light the skies over Israel. Given that he has called Israel the "Little Satan" and America the "Great Satan," why should anyone think that he has any love for the United states?

Also: Ahmadinejad's Iran is a key sponsor of terrorism.

IN 1939 if asked who is the bigger threat, Japan or Germany ,what would be your answer. Now I know NK is no Japan but Iran could be compared to Germany and NK is just the pain in the but we do not need at this time along with Chavez to our south.

The one threat is connected to the other. They are partners. At the very least, one inspires and serves as a lab for the other.

Democrats want to cut and run from Iraq.

I imagine that if Democrats gain the House and Senate and have their way they will cut and run from Iraq. That most likely would only embolden Ahmadinejad and people like him.

Sorry, Iran cannot be compared to 1939 Germany. 1939 Germany was the equal, if not the better of any of the Allied powers in military technology, industrial production and power. She had a motivated, educated and intelligent population equal to or more numerous to any in Europe.

Let us not lose the historical perspective of the threat that Churchillian Britain faced in defying the Nazis to the challenges we face today. Our challenges are not military.

They are our own to lose or win as we see fit. It is our own slavish devotion to multiculturalism and political correctness that is the real enemy. To paraphrase Franklin Roosevelt, "The only thing we have to fear, is ourselves."

In the ME Iran is probably superior to any other country, not counting Israel, in some ways yes, except for population and determination.
