I've misplaced my glasses. Did the headline ask who would be the next senate majority leaker? If that is the question, I would guess it would be either Specter or Rockefeller.
I ain't no Specter fan, but the bottom line is the guy has pushed through two of the best Justices we could' have possibly hoped for.
I am SURE that Cornyn or Kyl or Sessions could have done the same thing...but THEY wouldn't have stabbed Bush in the back over other issues like he does, IMHO>

As a former Ohioan...I agree. I had hopes for Blackwell,
my fellow alumnus- (X.U.) for Gov. but guess Taft so
screwed up the state that that is down the tubes..I am
hoping that '08...stuff gets back on track...the Dems
will be a disaster to most everything..Jake
There are TWO reasons Blackwell had such an uphill battle:
1) The lunatic fringe STILL insist Gore was cheated out of the Ohio votes by Blackwell
2) Taft screwed up the state so bad that ANY Republican would have to struggle on winning this time.
