This can also be interpreted as yet another entry in the 'we're the smartest guys in the room' contest. That was what I used to like about the WTimes: they didn't play that stupid game. Sad to see them sliding into line with all the other self-inflated media bums.

That's the reason I canceled my subscription.
I don't trust any newspaper, never have...
I was disappointed when the Washington Times Editorial page, or should I say Tony Blankley, Editorial Page Editor of the Washington Times, when they called for Speaker Hastert's resignation a couple of days after the Foley story broke. It struck me as odd that a conservative paper would call for a Conservative Speaker's resignation before all the facts were in. Imagine my surprise when I heard Mr. Blankley, a few weeks later, lament the fact that so many "conservatives" were attacking the Speaker. I think Mr.Blankley must think we're all stupid out here in the hinterlands.
So now the Wash. Times is making things up too? Everybody's making things up it seems. The delusion deepens.
Funny how the MSM are such experts on where the conservatives will direct their anger on election day. I truly believe there will be a huge conservative turn-out that will stun the democrats back to the stone age. I also believe the intelligence of conservative voters is massively superior to the stupidity and arrogance of the MSM.
