Clinton declared his political comeback Wednesday with a set-piece speech that is aimed, according to his aides, at framing his governing philosophy in the context of the 2006 elections. Clintons goal: to show why his philosophy works, and why Bushs doesnt. Clinton, of course, doesnt cite Bushs name. But he hardly pulls his punches against what he calls the leadership in Washington today.
In theory, Wednesdays speech marked the 15th anniversary of Clintons new covenant speech at Georgetown University. In practice, it marked a reinventing of Clintons themesthree weeks before the congressional electionsfor todays problems.

This country does not need this sexual devient/rapist running ANYTHING anymore. Go far, far away Clintoon.
How odd--I've been watching Hitler documentaries all day on The History Channel. I'm just waiting for Clinton to write Mein Kampt Part II
What's this business of Bill Clinton's political comeback? What office is he running for? The article draws an equivalence between Clinton and Bush, saying each is a 2 term president, and neither wants to leave the stage? This is so intellectually dishonest. Bush still has 2 years and 2 months remaining in office. Clinton's term expired almost six years ago. How can they say with a straight face that neither man wants to leave the stage?
classless pig
"This country does not need this sexual devient/rapist running ANYTHING anymore."
You left out, draft dodging, pot smoking, disbarred and impeached.
The "Shan" (previously known as the "Former Occupant of the Oval Office, 1993-2001") is not the definitive expert on effective use of Presidential power, as he never applied the vast and multiple powers of the office for any other purpose than avoiding consequences for his actions, personal gain, or to get chicks. It was for sure that not much he ever did was for the greater good of the country as a whole, unless he was forced into it, or his veto was overridden.
Anyone who is not on the payroll or on the take is a sucker to believe this.
Clinton comeback?
I thought the stain was on the front?
Clinton won't leave the stage. 2008 is probably Hillary's design for serving four terms. She probably ran the show both terms before. With her Senatorial term, she is getting to have a lot of power right on through to 2008. It was supposed to be a Hillary Clinton puppet presidency for Gore's two terms, then two terms for her and a 24 yr. Clinton nightmare for the rest of us ad nauseam.
Hey billy boy, get any hummers from any fat broads lately and we know it wouldn't be from Mrs. Clinton.
With the hildebeast, the voters get an unrestrained sexual predator set loose on the public. It's really bad getting her but include that loose cannon she's married to--Egads!
And you are so right.
Comeback? He never went away...that's part of the problem! Once again, billyjeff thinks it's still all about him.
