Opposition to G.O.P. Rises in Ohio, Poll Says

By JOHN M. BRODER and MEGAN C. THEE Published: October 17, 2006

The bellwether state of Ohio appears to have become hostile terrain for Republicans this year, with voters there overwhelmingly saying Democrats are more likely to help create jobs and concluding by a wide margin that Republicans in the state are more prone to political corruption than are Democrats, according to the latest New York Times/CBS News poll.

Ohio is home this year to closely watched races for governor, the United States Senate and a growing roster of competitive House seats, and the state has become one of the most contested battlegrounds of 2006 and one in which voters at this point are strongly favoring Democrats on many issues.

It's not going to work. Too many broken glass Conservative Republicans in Ohio, and they turnout in huge numbers in off year elections. I think the RAT numbers are inflated in order to give us the false impression that the election is over. The RATs and their media handlers want to promote the false notion that it's futile for Conservatives to show up at the polls.

Weird. I swear I saw two or three threads trumpeting GOPers taking the lead in Ohio just seconds ago.

Could they be possible be mistaken? /sarcasm

The thing that amazes me , is that the MSM doesn't even try to hide their anti-conservative bias anymore. At least in the past, they were somewhat subtle.

The New York Times exists to elect Democrats.

They're trying to brainwash people with near hypnotic suggestion.

Poll oversampled Dems.... more poll respondents voted for Kerry than Bush in 2004.

The NYT is a born in the wool unmitigated fishwrap. And to think that during the Civil War, it was actually a reliable Republican newspaper. My, how the Times nas changed.

The New York Times analysts really do believe Ohio voters are so stupid they'll look past the pro-pedophile position of the Democrat candidate for Governor.
