I'm embarrassed to admit that I actually registered a few months ago and posted some comments there. I steered clear of all kinds domestic-social stuff, hot button issues like abortion and gay marriage, and confined myself to foreign policy, WOT, etc. Of course I lasted about 5 hours before they pulled my account. I kept it above board and civil (though several posts in response to mine actually had to be pulled, and the bar for that over there is pretty darned high!), and several of the commments elicited some agreement and reasonable debate. But they don't care about reasoned arguments; if you don't hate every single thing about George Bush, and spout it over and over again, you're simply not welcomed there. I sent them a respectful e-mail asking to be re-instated, along with my intention to avoid promoting conservative social views that would clearly be unwelcomed there and to restrict myself to discussions about foreign policy. They wouldn't even reply. Pathetic.

After their election takeover, the 'rats will create public funding for "Err Amerika" and will ban conservative talk radio. That's why we cannot allow them to take over.
That picture should be useful if Franken ever runs for the senate, which he is supposedly considering.
I thought that I had heard that Franken's salary was a million per year. The news about the bankruptcy includes the detail that he is owed $300k.
Has Air America been on the air for 24 months? That would be two million for Franken, and it's claimed that he is only owed $300k. Does that mean that he has pocketed $1.7 million?
It wouldn't surprise me if he had. With four million in assets and 20 million in liabilities, that means that Air America has convinced a lot of creditors that Air America was creditworthy. The bankruptcy filing indicates that they are not.
If Franken got stiffed for the whole thing, it is what he deserves. If the creditors who extended a net $16 million to Air America never see a dime, it is what they deserve also.
