Heritage was on this "median income" thing nearly from the beginning. Turns out that the Detroit Free Press published a "study" [har] that engaged in statistical sleght-of-hand by comparing apples to oranges. The MSM and the DNC (is there a difference?) picked it up, and then the paleos (Semper Fi) piled-on.
