I live in a fairly conservative district, yet throughout the late 80's and all of the 90's we were represented by a moderate Democrat, after his second term the GOP didn't even run anyone against him and that includes 1994.
The bottom line is that the media is acting like this is a "slam dunk" but the reality is that they don't want to acknowledge how difficult it would be.
Me thinks that by next weekend we will not even hear any Foley news, haa!
Actually, I think I'm like many others, what Foley did is wrong but it doesn't affect my vote for Republicans I'll be voting for. Now, as Ann Coulter said, "I wouldn't vote for John McCain" and I am totally with her on that ticket!
I hope that conservatives blow the dems out of the water in Nov and prove once again the damaging stories are not what wins elections.
