There is a special place in Hell for these inbred pricks.

What ghouls. They've protested at the funerals of soldiers who've come back from Iraq in caskets. They disgust me.

I expect death threats would focus the mind and make one rethink their collective mental attitude.

Good thing. The Amish are pacifists but other people are not.

"controversial anti-homosexual"
So anyone that's anti-homosexual is warped as bad as these. What a cheap shot!

Your rights as a protester ends when it begins to interfere with the rights of others.
To purposely interrupt a funeral is an attempt to stop the free exercise of religion.

They should have the living shit kicked out of them at every appearance. And the local media should turn their cameras off in cooperation. That would quickly end any future "protests".
To: WestVirginiaRebel
They make their money by suing local governments for infringing upon their rights of free speech *or* for failing to provide adequate protection for their protests .
Lawsuits are their primary source of income.

Probably a smart move on their part. I'm sure we were all worried that someone might burn their church down...

Even if they were arrested, what jury would convict someone that beats the snot out of these guys?

I guess they must have reached a certain level of death threats, ran the odds and said "Nope, too dangerous"

Freepers should organize a celebration at his funeral when this piece of sh*t finally dies. When his filthy, rotting carcass is six feet under, I want to take a huge dump on his grave.

They have gotten some money from lawsuits - but, I suspect ongoing criminal enterprise going on.
I understand a lot of them are lawyers of some sort

I'd be willing to bet that it wasn't an altruistic decision on their behalf. I'd say the real reason they decided to cancel their protest is that SOMEONE made it clear to them that they would require serious medical attention...if not a coroner...if they showed their faces at the funeral.
But that's just my guess.

Shirley Phelps-Roper, the daughter of church's pastor, told FOXNews.com the group canceled the protests in exchange for an hour of radio time Thursday on syndicated talk-show host Mike Gallagher's radio program.
Thank you Mike!!!
