We're saved! I can't recall an election Dick has ever called right. In '04 he said Bush would cream Kerry in debates and this would be a big boost to his reelection. Then when Kerry ended up "winning" the first, and possibly all 3, debates, Morris said Kerry would win the election.
His '06 prediction though sounds like the mirror image of his take on the '98 election. Said GOP voters were so disgusted with Clinton they would turn out in huge numbers. With a straight face he actually predicted they would get to 60 seats in the Senate, and gain dozens of House seats. He could not have been more wrong and it sounds like he's done it again.
Yesterday on Sean's show he said Foley was going to be topic of conversation in every home in America. I have not heard one person mention this unless I bring it up first. I honestly think most Americans do not care and will not let this affect their vote.
