Get a GRIP!!! This is just what the Dems want you to do...blame someone who has NOTHING to do with it!! Hastert did NOT know of the IM's.....geesh...woobly, ready to jump on the Pub, but the Dem is untouchable?
Hastert's job is to LEAD. He didn't LEAD. His number one job is to protect the House majority from exposed flanks like this. The dems can drive a truck through this on Election Day, and if Hastert had been LEADING and proactive regarding the "over-friendly" (WTF does that mean?) e-mails, this could have been nipped in the bud.
I like Hastert.
But, with this, the Dems can dance around and knock us down a lot.
Perhaps enough to win the election and at least one house in November.
I am disgusted. Yes, they did not know about the IMs. But, the PR on this debacle has been so atrocious, so bad that we may lose the election on this alone.
I am worried.
