"Speaker Hastert had knowledge of Congressman Foley's inappropriate behavior and chose to protect a potential pedophile"...

Now we have to jail "potential" criminals? I don't want you on the "thought police" monitor.

As far as I know what Hastert did was not illegal.

I meant Foley. I guess you could include Hastert as well. You seem to be out for blood much like a lynch mob. I wonder what your stake is in this?

You should ALWAYS believe that your e-mails and IMs have the potential to be printed. MSN messenger and Trillian both save all conversations, not sure about AIM.

As far as I know any AIM text can be cut and paste. IOW saved You're right Trillian does save the text and you can log on to AOL IM through Trillian. I use it to avoid AOL's commercials. BTW there is no such thing as a secure telephone either for the average Joe. One malfunction called cross talk and you can hear every word the person your line is crossed with is saying.

As for Foley? There is no defending him. He was a congressman who made himself a target for blackmail and extortion by his behavior. He was a walking national security risk. Foley and others like him need to be removed from office. Party should not matter.

The MSM is trying to say "all homosexuals are potential pedophiles" without saying homosexuals ARE pedophiles.

It is a quandry for the MSM.

The MSM is saying EVERYONE knew Foley was a homosexual.

YET the MSM never reported this knowlege that as a homosexual Foley was a pedophile.

MSM quandry. They want the Republicans out, but to do this they have to sacrifice the homosexuals.

Thats ok, the left aways considered homosexuals as disposable.

Your first inkling there's something rotten in Congress? LOL

Man, if you're serious then this nation has more serious problems than I thought.

Hundreds of people knew what this guy was doing ( which BTW did not include having sex with interns as far as we know now). No one did anything. Everyone there is terrified about being branded a homophobe.

>>Now take a deep breath, stop hyperventilating, and let the facts come out. Then we can talk more about who knew what and when, and take action.

Worth saying again, and someone should have told the Wash Times this, and they should have acted on it, before they printed their idiot editorial this week.

You'll not keep us on the plantation in meek submission like the DemocRATS have done to the blacks ever since the 1960s. We will not stand for it.

What the hell are you talking about?

The IM turned up this week...even though some in the media had them since August 2005.

Who in the media had the IMs since August 2005? I have read of the (relatively mild) emails being seen by some newspapers last year, but I had not heard of the IMs being disclosed.
