WASHINGTON, Oct. 2 /U.S. Newswire / -- Mike Rogers, the nation's top gay activist blogger, has posted on his blog at http://www.proudofwhoweare.org excerpts from an interview with a member of the class of congressional pages who have been confirmed to have been harassed by or stalked by former Congressman Mark Foley (R-FL). Rogers is available for further comment on the unfolding scandal.
The page confirms in the interview with Rogers that there was widespread knowledge among pages of sexually oriented instant message chats and emails between Foley and a page, that the page interviewed had seen the messages himself, and that they were "definitely of a sexual nature."
The page tells Rogers that although young pages as part of their orientation were instructed about scandals of the past, and told the congressional page program had been restructured to protect them, there "was only so much that they could do," and male pages still received a lot of attention from Foley.
Rogers has been on Foley's trail during the last two weeks, assembling the email trail, working to interview the two pages involved, and talking to others in the same class of pages about Foley's practice of showering personal attention on male pages.
A year and a half ago, Rogers blogged on Foley's conflicted position as a secretly gay man who was voting and working against the gay community's interests.
I realize the "kid" is 16?...But I would like to hear him talk...and walk....and see his hand gestures...

The Democrats better pray hard it does not involve one of theirs, but then again, they don't pray to the real God anyway.

Out of curiosity, why?
It appears that what the lefty gay's found to be an 'abomination' is the fact that Foley sometimes voted against the extreme 'gay' political line, and needed to be 'outed' for being gay -- not the hitting on a teenager.
Say no more.
I'd venture a guess they're all Republicans who have spoken out against the gay agenda or voted against the gay agenda. Whether they be gay or straight, makes no difference.
These are the SAME people who wants gays in the military and gay boy scout leaders!!

Remember the couple in Fla that happened to have a scanner and recorder and recorded a Newt Gingrich cell call?
Why was the ex-page ( he was an ex at the time wasn't he?) answering Foley?
How old was the page when this happened?
Foley wouldn't have kept it up if he had been rejected would he?
Just asking questions I'd like to hear the MSM answer.
The more I hear of this , the more I think he was set up.
He deserves to be ousted but this smells.

Mike Rogers hates him because he is a Republican. This should be against the law. It seems awfully like blackmail/extortion, IMO. If you don't vote how I want - we'll out you... The DCCC MUST know about this guy. Heck, I knew about this guy years ago, IIRC.
I hope the FBI is looking closely at this man. It seems he is blackmailing and/or extorting Members of Congress so they vote his way.
Sorry I have not posted any replies until now. I was up all night and had to get some sleep. I am happy to report that some very able people are helping me(which I need quite frankly), so as soon as I get any info that I am able to post here, I will.
