Opening of the Gerry E. Studds Stellwagen Bank
National Marine Sanctuary Visitors Center![](http://soundwaves.usgs.gov/2001/08/cutting.jpg)
Cutting the ribbon: Former Congressman Gerry Studds (left) and current Congressman Bill Delahunt (from 10th District in Massachusetts) preside over a ribbon-cutting ceremony marking the opening of the new Visitors Center for the Gerry E. Studds Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary.
[ Note: Studds admitted having sex with a boy page, in the U.S. Capital Building, in 1983 - but being a democrat stayed in congress until "honorably" retiring in 1996. ]

"touch-screen exhibit of bottom photos"
Add that to the list of things that sound dirty, but aren't.

The Republicans should immediately claim Gerry Studds, Jim McGreevey and Gary Condit as "honorary Republicans", just to cause them to lose credibility within their own cohorts.

You're confusing pork with morality. In politics one shall honor the first while acting all outraged if the second is dented a bit.

I have a feeling that Foley's greatest regret is that he wasn't a Democrat.

The point is the Democrat's & MSM's partisan standard of "morality":
- Foley's offense is sexual correspondences with a boy page . He resigns immediately, but this is not for them.
- Studd's offense was actually having sex with a boy page. They slap him on the wrist with a censure and they STAND & HONOR him as he continues his political career uninterrupted.

Yeah, I know. You couldn't make up this stuff.
Some time ago, Mr. Studds was instrumental in declaring the 200-mile fishing limit for US fishermen.
The center point of his district, years ago, was New Bedford, and the fisherman, though they loathed his lifestyle choice, admired the work he did for them.
I gotta say, he had a great staff locally. Very attentive to constituent calls and letters.
However, I see Billy Delahunt hasn't got much to do these days. Billy was a fair DA in Norfolk County, but one of the biggest knee-jerk liberals I have ever known.
My word, you should see the sights on Commercial Street in P-Town after the bars close on Friday and Saturday nights. It's a gay troll-a-thon. I reckon more HIV crap is spread in P-Town that in any other jurisdiction in America(given Provincetown's population).

I have no clue why the 10th puts up with Delahunt, 40% of the district lives in the Cape and the Islands, and he, being the resident of Quincy, has the mentality of a Boston Pol. He does nothing to advance Cape and Islands issues.

Close. Clinton PARDONED Mel Reynolds (albeit for his financial crimes). Jesse Jackson's Rainbow Coalition hired him. Birds of a feather flock together, I guess.
