A municipal prosecutor may ask a judge to cite former Attorney General Zulima Farber for contempt of court after she failed to appear yesterday as a witness in a traffic case against her boyfriend, Hamlet Goore. The case stems from the now- infamous Memorial Day weekend traffic stop in Bergen County in which Farber went to the aid of Goore after he was ticketed for driving on a suspended license. The incident ultimately led to Farber's resignation last month when a special prosecutor found she had violated state ethics rules by going to the scene. At the time of her resignation, Farber said she planned to take a vacation and put the whole thing behind her. When you are a democrat, in NJ especially, the laws and the courts mean absolutely nothing!
Can't imagine why Farber was supoenaed in the first place - she wasn't at the scene originally (according to this article), and would have nothing to add as evidence in a driving while license suspended case.
Probably a carter or clinton apointee.
These people judge us?
No. A Florio, McGreevey, Corzine appointee. Thankfully, some judges and political hacks never make it as far as a presidential appointment. I think Zulima has reached the limit in her public career, and seems hell bent on trashing her private employment prospects as well. As a former county prosecuter, and former State Attorney General, she probably has a comfortable and secure pension for a couple years worth of work.
They are both really, really sad.
