Liberals and their media are desperate beyond belief for them to bring this meaningless issue thinking that they can win elections based on it.

It seems to me that someone would have brought this up before the 9/11 commission.

And the hits just keep on coming. Wonder what other artillery the Dems have in their arsenal of lies?

commission members said they were never told about the meeting despite hours of public and private questioning with Ms. Rice, Mr. Tenet and Mr. Black Rice didn't tell them, Tenet didn't tell them.
But Woodward tells them, and they believe it.

Sounds like Woodward is planning the purchase of more real estate on Martha's Vineyard.
Royalties from this book should just about cover it.

Why would Tenet fail to bring this meeting up to the 9/11 commission? The meeting makes him look like he was on the ball with Al Qaeda. Instead the world sees him as "slam dunk" Tenet.

Anyone that believes this is 51 cards short in a deck. This is another national guard story, plame affair, that is put out there by the liberals. Will not work because most americans have made up their minds about the donks, and they do not like their leadership or the direction they will take this country. The donks are about to have their asses handed to them again this election.

It's a scandal-a-day from now until Election Day. Especially at the New York Times.

Why doesn't Woodward investigate why the Clinton Administration turned down capturing Osama four times?

Did he tell her when, where, how...something, anything that would tell the President what needed to be done?

They should bring Woodward in and make him give sworn testimony about all these new revelations. On penalty of perjury.

In June or July of 2001, there were news reports that a major attack on U.S. soil was imminent. They weren't sure of who, what, when, where why, and how though. They just knew it was going to happen. THIS WAS IN THE NEWS. I am certain that Tenet discussed it with Rice. The Bush administration couldn't act quickly enough because they were still trying to get their government together after the multiple recounts forced by Gore in Florida caused them to run way behind on schedule. I sincerely believe that the administration would have had a better handle on this if not for the 2000 Florida Fiasco.
The Gore campaign is to blame for this. It could have been worse, the Clintonites tried to usurp our Democratic Republic and attempted a coup. They were unsuccessful. This was a dangerous precedent and I think they will try it again.
Don't look for them to concede any future (especially close) Presidential Election very easily. John Kerry waited till the following morning, about 8AM or so before he did, and it wasn't even close. His people were also making false claims about disenfranchisement in Ohio when it was clear that he wasn't going to win.

Intel networks were probably reporting "imminent" attacks by al Qaeda every day for the 10 years preceding Bush 43's taking office. It depends on what is "imminent" about the word "imminent"

There's really nothing at all new here, although the Libs/MSM are trying desperately to generate some political friction out of Woodward's book.
For example, recall that Richard Clarke, self-enamored metrosexual poser that he is, made basically the same type of accusation against Condi, and expressed it in the same type of proto-typical Lib expression, i.e., Clarke claimed that at some meeting Condi "seemed unaware" (emphasis on the soft observation "seemed") of the existence of Al-Qaeda. Also recall that Clarke's observation was proven absolutely false based on established fact, i.e, Condi definitely knew who Al-Qaeda was.
And now again, we have an accusation wrapped around a soft perception of a presumed emotional state. In the hard world known as "reality", there's nothing being expressed here except the imagined soft impressions expressed by people with an obvious axe to grind, all conflated into a pseudo-fact.
So what are we left with? One thing is clear: in the Oprah-ized unverse of the Dems, feelings are the same things as facts. in fact, they are more genuine.

Members of the Sept. 11 commission said today that they were alarmed that they were told nothing about a White House meeting And..., I just wonder what party these "Secret Members" are from??? I heard that Martians had told Clinton of the attack before the election and that he and Gore decided to only react if Gore was elected! (Placing aluminum foil helmet back on before I am zapped for revealing this)!!!
