Top Gear's Richard Hammond out of Hospital: Six Month Recovery

Top Gear presenter Richard Hammond will be "back to his old self" in about six months, according to the specialist looking after him.
Hammond, who was today transferred to a private hospital in Bristol, was said to be "doing well" eight days after the 300mph dragster crash that left him with a brain injury.

Glad to see he is doing better. They still have yet to detail the type of brain injury he had. Though they say 6 months, it will probably be shorter than that as is usually the case. Now, when will BBC2 start allowing us bloody yanks to watch the show on the website?

seriously - the program is under threat because of this. On the bright side he walked from the stretcher to his new hospital bed!!
