Unbelievable. Richard Miniter, author of "Losing bin Laden," was just on with Al Rantel on KABC in Los Angeles.
Besides talking about the McDonald's fishburgers for the prisoners and the 1,000 pro bono attorneys for 400 prisoners, he relayed a story that is beyond disgusting.
At night, the camp played our National Anthem. The prisoners complained that it was too loud, AND WE ACTUALLY TURNED THE VOLUME WAY DOWN TO ACCOMMODATE THEM.
This, folks, is how we lose this war. We fight a ruthless enemy with kid gloves.
I think they should have to listen to rap 24/7 at 100dB.

A college room mate of my husbands is one of those "attorneys." Yech.
We also had to take the little American flags off the bottled water they get. They were offended.
The attorneys give the prisoners envelopes. The prisoners then use the envelopes to pass information on to other prisoners ex attacking the guards. Because of client attorney privilege the guards cannot open the envelopes.
The wife of my college roommate COULD be one of those attorneys..... I don't think she's gone that far off the deep end yet (I hope) but she is ultra-lib (so is he, alas) and would probably jump to do it if asked directly by one of her legal mentors, etc...... well I suppose many attorneys will say you have to provide your able representation to just about anyone, but NO WAY, you do not have to choose to represent terrorist scumbags who want to kill us all. NO WAY.
That has been said for a while and you would think that any lawyer passing notes should be subject to getting the cell next to his client.
Once the prisoners get the attorneys envelopes they pass different information from prisoner to prisoner.
Why not make envelopes out of wax paper or a plastic that does not allow writing?
How we lose a war is right. Instead of dragging out the process we should just stop now, save ourselves the money and trouble. If you cannot truely fight, do not fight at all.

BTW - This is the guy, GW, that you elected. Does anyone here understand why I didn't vote for him in the 1st election. Are you going to say that Pat Buchanan would not have been a better candidate.
