Remember he also said that he came closer than anyone else did in capturing OBL. Last time I looked OBL is still out there, and 9/11 happened.
Bill, and appearantly Hillary, appear to be absolutely OBSESSED with attacking these charges by shooting the messenger on their little scheme to bait and switch the American people into believing he actually did anything at all to protect us from terrorism.
Legacies and history re-writing are tricky things, especially when obvious facts do not support their conclusions.
