THE Islamic extremist who heckled John Reid today said he and Tony Blair were tyrants and murderers on a crusade against Muslims.
Abu Izzadeen said they were trying to divide the Muslim community in the UK and warned of a "strong reaction" if the government continued with its anti- terrorism measures.
The radical activist, also known as Omar Brooks, said the actions of the police and security services backed by the Home Secretary and the Prime Minister were creating massive tensions within the Islamic community.
And he warned chillingly: "You can only push people to a certain level until they explode."
Mr Izzadeen hijacked a speech by Dr Reid on Wednesday when he went to a London mosque to ask Muslim parents to keep a close eye on their children and act if they suspected they were being seduced into radicalism and possibly criminal terrorist acts by extremists.
Mr Izzadeen said this amounted to asking parents to spy on their children and Muslims to rat on their neighbours.
He described Dr Reid as "an enemy to Islam, an enemy to Muslims" and referred to the Home Secretary as "a tyrant".
He added: "When Tony Blair talks of this evil ideology, he is talking about Islam. They are tyrants. They are enemies to Muslims. There can't be any discussion or debate when they are killing Muslims, they are murdering Muslims. When Tony Blair is talking about Muslims he is in the guise of a crusader.
Justifying his outburst on Wednesday, Mr Izzadeen said of Dr Reid: "His view is nothing more than to ask the Muslim community to turn in on itself and spy and do the police's job.
"We are facing in the UK an attack, a crusade by the British government. The Muslim community has had enough."
Those are the best kinds of crusades.
