If the coyote had been eating McDonald's food shouldn't it already have been dead from being overweight and full of nasty fats?

There's reason there are no $18 an hour jobs at MacDonalds.
A good friend of mine's mother-in-law thinks they should be though. Actually she thinks they should be paid 20$ an hour and get health care benefits too...Because "they have a right to earn a living" When asked what she thought that would do to the price of hamburgers she respoonded "why should that make hamburgers more expensive". Its just scary sometimes how loopy the left really is.

He estimated there are 3,000 to 5,000 coyotes living in Connecticut. I hear the DNC is claiming they have a right to vote too. |

Are coyote bites worse than moose bites?

I'll ask my sister.
Funny, I drove home from CT on Sunday also. I skip 95 though and do the Merritt Parkway instead, but I was driving from Storrs, not the Cape.

She was walking toward the restaurant when the animal attacked her from behind, biting her on the back of her knee. "I looked around. I thought it was my boyfriend playing tricks on me,"Sounds like they have fun.

Yep. They're keeping the coyote as a publicity stunt, but they're labeling him with one of those "HOT" coffee warning stickers and having a "Name the Coyote" contest. Any ideas for a name?

I have often said, "Don't offer it to me if you're not gonna give it to me." McDonalds is actually in a way one of the better corporations out there, but they are just so d*mned annoying! I try not to scream at the counter workers because I know they are just doing what they are told... usually I end up going next door to BK.
Strange thing I've noticed: When you work in a major city, naturally a high portion of the people poor enough to work at a fast-food place are minorities. After living in NY, Boston, DC and even Albany, it seems that the BK workers are usually black, and the McD workers are usually Hispanic. Any guesses why? I know I'll choose BK just to get someone who speaks English, but I don't think a corporate policy towards language skills explains it; I've seen Haitian-dominated BKs, too, where the English is very poor.

I've always wondered if coyotes would attack humans. I know for a fact that my Grandmother was very fearful of them. She told of coyotes approaching their remote home and at night they would howl right outside the door. My father said she would shoot out the door to scare them off. They used to kill them and hang their bodies on the fences to scare off the pack.

When I lived in Az, coyotes used to follow me when I went jogging. Three or four at a time. They'd keep 30 yards back or so, and they never actually bothered me, but it was still very unnerving.

Good decision to get rabies shots. Being from Az. I have never heard of a coyote attacking an adult unless they are rabid. (There has been a few incidents where they have tried to attack infants though).

"To my knowledge, we haven't had anyone injured by coyotes before in Connecticut," he said.
That does it! Connecticut wildlife is becoming too dangerous. I'm moving to Montana!

That's the real pity that the animal wasn't shot. They could have then tested the brain for rabies. Now they won't know. Did anyone think of having the McDonalds put out some more food to see if it would come back?
