OK. The info went to the place where the pedophile Muhammsandwich came from. Then Saddam was found in a hole. The hole was like a well so Saddam must be the 12th Mahdi. Perfect logic.

All of these people are accomplices to mass murder whether at the hands of Saddam or Al-Qaeda. We should not discriminate when we hunt them and kill them.

I think the importance of the documents that the information came from sources in Pakistan. Who are these sources that gave the Iraqi Intelligence there this information? Are they part of the Pakistani government? Are they the Pakistani intelligence? Why are they tipping the Iraqi with such information? Are the same sources tipping Al Qaeda leaders hiding in Pakistan with information to help them escape capture by the US?

They have all made themselves targets of opportunity. Aiding my enemy makes you my enemy. To rip off some old Chinese saying and butchering it to fit what I want.

I think you are right about the importance of WHO was sending this information to Iraq. That person or persons may still be sending information, and that is something we need to know.

Thanks eye. As I explained in post 4, I think the importance of the document is that the information came from Pakistani sources. Who are these sources and how high and powerful are they in the Pakistani government? Are they also helping Bin Laden, Al Zawahiri, and other Al Qaeda leaders escape capture or killing by the US.

And this was days before the war started.

Remember the house that was bombed at the beginning, thinking Saddam was there.

Anyway, I thought Pakistan was Islamic? Surely Saddam wasn't working with Muslims, and even had an intel office in a muslim country? He hated Muslims, right? Right?

Not a long line from Pakistan intel to Al Qaeda, is there? And who knew that told?

Does this mean Pakistani intel was helping Saddam?

That is very possible, or may someone higher up in the Pakistani government. The Pakistani intelligence is known to have many sympathizers with America enemies.

I'm very heartened to hear Bush declare we would go into Pakistan to get Osama if we get good intel. Musharif has been helpful, but I do not trust all those who work for him.

Yep. And Musharif probably has to make some deals to stay alive and in power.

Exactly!

Who are these people, in Pakistan, and are they also protecting OBL, as we all suspect?

I think that Bin Laden and Zawahiri are constantly informed by "some people" in the Pakistani intelligence how to evade the US. The day when we capture Bin Laden or Zawahiri is when the traitors in the Pakistani intelligence are not aware of our movement. I am not saying that all the Pakistani intelligence are against us, else we would not have captured many Al Qaeda leaders, Pakistan government remains a very important ally in the war on terror, but I am sure that some elements in the government are working to protect the terrorists, and they will do so whenever they can.

I think this document proves our suspicions that some elements in the Pakistani government are working with the enmies of the US.

For Saddam, which came first - the intel that America was trying to capture or kill him, or the phone call from his friend John Murtha warning him?

Be careful...if Pakistan is involved...there actually MIGHT show some kind of connection some where to Bin Ladin..and the dems have told us over and over and over...

That there was NO contact EVER between Iraq and al-queda!!!

LOL

Also...I wonder if they heard about this from Sen. Rockefeller who bragged about going to different countries before the war and "warning" them that Bush was going to invade.
