A Maryland legislative committee is aiming to kill a proposal that would make it difficult for illegal aliens to obtain driver's licenses, saying its regulations for toughening documentation standards are discriminatory. The state Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) in July filed a plan that would not allow license applicants to use documents such as foreign school and baptismal records to prove their identity.

From what I've observed over the past 5 years, NO, we didn't learn a darned thing. We're just lucky, so far. And that could end, any day.
They should name all the members of the committee who aim to kill the proposal.

Ouch....good point. I was referring to the politicians, the ILLEGALS are just following the lead of them anyway.
American transportation drivers don't have a God-given right to the wages and earnings they're accustomed to. More illegals should be insourced and the nativist, bigoted artificial trade barrier of reserving drivers licenses for citizens and legal residents should be torn down. We need to globalize to survive. Since the project of depressing the poor and middle classes of this country might strike some with remaining patriotic sentiment as unkind we will wrap this up as sympathy and inflict racial guilt on white liberals, and call it "growth" for corporate conservatives.
/globalist logic
Southern Maryland here. The Representative of my district, A Democrat ,has been voted Persona-non Gratis by the Demmies in Annapolis , they wont let him sit on Committees or Chair anything , and he has seniority over so many of the others, but he doesnt toe the Democrat line. so they ignore him. I spoke to him about this very thing and he objected to it, but like I say the rest of them ignore him.
Nice fellow , he represents his constituents and not his party. He will be re-elected. Thats one time I and so many others will vote democrat. too bad he stands alone.
Here's one, he votes against everything, even Jessica'a law:
