The Sacramento BEE section for my area of "Superior California" says that Real Estate prices have dropped "less that 5%" in my zipcode. But in some other zipcodes very close by, the drop is much higher! Like 5% to 15% and even some more than 15%!
I'm sure happy to hear that the son's business is growing and someday I'd like to take a trip up that way and meet both of your families. That is, if they'll let me into Humbolt County!!! (grin)
That 5% drop must be combined with the 10 to 15% run up that was occurring last year on RE.
I can get you a passport here but with your record you will have to declare you are too old to vote...
