I don't think Bush should be impeached over this but I do think the failure to secure our borders is the biggest failure in his presidency and will have disastrous consequences that will tarnish his legacy. I'm amazed that a President who puts so much emphasis on national security can leave our borders basically wide-open.

I agree with you. There are so many other people, like certain supreme court justices that need to be impeached first.

Besides our congress can barely keep from passing benefits for illegals, much less impeach the pres over them.

I agree with Pat on the need for a deportation program. But I would only deport criminals after serving their sentences. Otherwise, you send the message to illegals that the only punishment for committing crime is to be sent home.

It would never happen anyway. We have a congress that is 100% compliant with Bush's lack of immigration enforcement. We will have to impeach them at the polls.

Bush is an open borders president. He is in agreement with the North American Union. Unfortunately it makes me very uncomfortable hearing things like there is a lot of violence over the elections in 4 southern Mexico states. We need to secure our borders, and remain a sovereign nation. Otherwise we will fail as a nation, No one is that resilient.

Oh, don't worry. There are quite a few things in the works right now that are going to help seal the border; first, DHS is letting private contractors figure out how!
