What's with the "UFO" following the Shuttle? Anyone have a link on where that is being discussed?
There is something orbiting the earth near Atlantis and nobody knows what it is!!! This is going to get good!
Seems two (2) reasons.
1.. Weather at the landing site
2. Object found near shuttle by camera's.

I can't see what they are talking about.. the "Object" in question looks to me like a ground feature...

NASA mission controllers are tracking a mystery object hovering between the space shuttle Atlantis and Earth, and traveling at roughly the same speed as the orbiter, agency officials said Tuesday.
“Right now they’re just tying to figure out exactly what it is, how far away it is,” NASA spokesperson Kimberly Harle told SPACE.com. “It’s pretty much assessing the whole situation.”
arle said that at 2:45 a.m. EDT (0645 GMT), just after Atlantis completed a check of its reaction control thrusters, the instrumentation and communications officer at NASA’s shuttle Mission Control room at Johnson Space Center noted an object between the orbiter and Earth, and traveling at about the same speed of the spacecraft.
Flight controllers are now using video cameras mounted along Atlantis’ robotic arm and payload bay to survey visible areas of the orbiter, including its wing leading edges and other vital heat shield areas, Harle said.
“Everything is still under assessment,” Harle said.
For now, Atlantis’ STS-115 shuttle crew will not stow their Ku-band antenna – the primary video and data link to Earth – to allow flight controllers to continue to study the object.

Why is the camera just pointing to the bay? We've seen it 1,000 times. How about out in space or at the new object that seems to be floating by?
Did anyone see that Fox News clip of this "object?" A grey-looking object.. between the shuttle and earth.. travelling at the exact same speed and direction as the shuttle... WOW.. A SHADOW!? I really hope, for NASA's sake, that this isn't the shuttle shadow.. but I've seen the shadow of many planes I've been on..
Something is following the shuttle--even though the shuttle has the bumper sticker "Don't follow me, I'm lost, too!"
I saw it' very curious that it's traveling at the same speed as the shuttle. FNC also said NASA thinks something fell off the shuttle (I think that's what I heard).
Given the distance -- I can't imagine that this would be a shadow. On Fox they just speculated that it might be some debris that came out of the cargo bay. Let's hope it's not something important for the shuttle.

There is a lot of trash floating up there, including a glove from a shuttle astronaut. My understanding is all pieces are tracked and identified, so this might be something new that fell from the shuttle. Very interesting.
