Question: How are women and the poor helped by voter fraud?

The fee for a driver's license or some other form of ID is NOT a tax.

Any rational judge would reject that sort of clintonian semantic evasion out of hand.

No, they wouldn't. A fee is a reimbursement to the government for services provided. A tax is money charged to be spent as the government wishes.

If a state charges $400 for a driver's license (as many do for a car license), it is a tax. Missouri charges $7.50 as a fee. That isn't close to the cost of administering the test.

Furthermore, there is NO CHARGE for a photo ID. The only cost is the $15 to get a birth certificate (if you don't have one). Other forms of evidence are allowed as well. Provisions have been made to provide the needed documentation for FREE if needed.

A $15 FEE for a birth certificate, which you only need to pay once in your life, is NOT a tax. Nor does it in any way impose a burden on the poor.

This judgment was made to allow voter fraud. Period.

Even with no cost, the arguement was that getting a birth certificate or other proof of citizenship was too difficult for a prospective voter to handle. How such an idiot is supposed to find the voting booth is not addressed - probably because the democrats will drive them from booth to booth to booth...

"If that's a burden, then isn't it a burden to go to the polls to vote in the first place?"

I pay taxes on the gas to get there so it must be a poll tax.

I realize this is a state court.

But there will be a time when these cases make it to the Supreme Court. And I think we will win that one.

It also allows for a provisional ballot when no photo id is provided. The signatures must match those on file before the vote can be counted. Bunch of crap idiot judge!

The RAT offense is lining up to run the same flood the zone with dead men play that they used to beat Ashcroft--the one where the Clinton appointed refs kept letting the St Louis RATs have do-overs till they won.

That "rational judge" part may be a problem....

Why not just a "voter ID card?" Has a picture, name, SSN, address, and all that.

Because it would "MIGHT" hamper the Democrats stuffing ballot boxes in Kansas City and St Louis.

Political corruption in Chicago is a well know, accepted and widely talked about fact of life to the rest of the county.

Southwest of Chicago in the two largest cities in Missouri are political cesspools that have been around for decades.

They are just not as well know nor talked about as much.

It is very simple, the democrats in Missouri do not want to stop voter fraud.
