True enough that the emergency exits open inward, but the main door opens OUT!
That would be a good way to down an airliner. Open the main door, let the airstream rip it off and then it smacks the wing/engine/tailplane.

Yep; those are usually 'plug doors'. Sort of like a cork. When I was on KC-10's in the Air Force I seen a chart from McDonnell Douglas on the force against those doors at different psid's. Even at low altitudes I remember it being in the thousand of pounds.
