AS a result of the horror of Sept. 11, 2001, President Bush has transformed the way we fight terrorism and the tools we use. We successfully attack those very things our enemies need to operate and survive: leadership, communications, the ability to travel, weapons; foot soldiers and financing. The president has strengthened and transformed the intelligence community, integrated our military and intelligence assets, and broken down the barriers that kept domestic law enforcement and intelligence agencies from sharing information.

This IS the NYTs right???? How did a pro-Bush article make it through the editor's office, much less the Publisher's???

Interesting. I will not register to view it, but the excerpt is interesting.

I know how to prevent the next 9/11. Give Americans their constitutional rights back. Give us the right to carry guns wherever we wish. Give us the right to discriminate. Let us the right to decide who we wish to do business with, or hire, or rent to, or associate with, and let us use whatever criterion we think is appropriate. The attacks on the World Trade Center would never have happened if those passengers were armed or if the airlines were not required to sell tickets to people who hate us.

Ah, I see now. It was an OP-Ed from Frances Townsend, White House Homeland Security Adviser.

I noticed how the NYTs put his title in lower case. I'm sure Sulzberger Jr. and his minions have already lined up "spontaneous" emails from "angry, passionate leftists" to rebuke this. After all, the NYTs can't let a positive Op-Ed for the President go without spending the rest of the week attacking it (and Bush).

The bottom line is we are at war. We are at war not because there is a reincarnated Israel who refuses to submit to dhimmitude. We are not at war because of "oil" or "Haliburton" or any other number of reasons the "anti-war" crowd states. We are at war because the Islamofascists gave us two choices: #1. Covert (at gun point) and Submit to slave status or #2. Die. We chose #3: Kill the Islamofacists.

For some reason our choosing #3 upsets the left...

A picture says a thousand words, but a cartoon makes them into a thought:

The last one seems to be the most difficult for leftists to understand......
