Kerry calls for Dems to rally around pulling troops out of Iraq

BOSTON —Sen. John Kerry is calling on Democrats to rally around his plan to pull U.S. combat troops out of Iraq by next July and redeploy some to Afghanistan.

The Massachusetts Democrat gave a speech this morning at Boston’s Faneuil Hall.

On the eve of Congressional mid-term elections, Kerry says Democrats must propose a new direction to defeat terrorism.

He said Bush “pretends again and again” that Iraq is the central front on the war on terror, but Kerry said it isn’t and “never has been.”

Kerry says the military commitment in Iraq weakens the United States’ ability to respond to threats in Iran and Afghanistan.

Will this be before or after they redeploy to Okinawa? Who's calling the shots here? Is it Kerry or Murtha? What is the REAL Democrat strategy? Inquiring minds want to know...

Yup -

"Turnerizing" the medals was perfect!

Now - we have a few years to animate Kerry crawling on his belly when he is "stalking and hunting deer".......

Does he actually do that? LOL

Won't be easy to do a belly crawl

Tumbling Murtha was easier

Cost him loads of dem & Indy voters as nobody crawls when hunting

Maybe it wuz in Viet Nam and Lt. Kerry wuz hunting peasants.....

Kerry did shoot an unarmed 12 year old "insurgent" in the back and kill him in 'Nam

So his diary sez......

I missed the part about him crawling when hunting.

The part about shooting someone in the back I know well.

I recall one of the bigtime TV People, maybe Ted Kopple, actually going to the village and 'saying' they found the grave, interviewing people, etc.

I believe it was debunked later on and the grave marker actually had a different date on it, and so on..

Anti-gunner Kerry went nuts in the mid-west playing the "Great Weird Hunter" for locals and TV cams

I'll bet the hunting dogs were crawling as Kerry raised his exotic shotgun

And the guys with him were wearing Level 3 bulletproof vests

Ah, my junior senator. Again. you can set the clock by his stupidity and arrogance. I really loathe that man. Fatso, too. And this is right after coming home from church. (I'll have to say a couple of Hail Mary's now.)

The idiot, also known as John Kerry, is timing this "get out of Iraq" speech so that when we DO pull out of Iraq it will look like he was the reason. He wants credit. With Iraq taking over so much of the military, we won't be there much longer anyway. Just my opinion.

We are going to be in Iraq for years and years and years. Not at the current troop levels, but we will be a presence there for many many years to come. The General's have already said they see troop reductions within the next year, depending, and Kerry is just trying to jump on board their statements. The best is if you listen to the dem radio address yesterday...the speaker (forgot who) stated two key things:

1. We need to go after AQ
2. Iraq is a training ground for AQ and we need to get out of there.

Yup....that is what they said. It was stunning.
