BTW - I do think Ann went to far, but it was nice to see someone call these widows on their uncontested pontificating.
Kristen is qualified to push policy positions because...because her husband died?
Big deal. Husbands die every week from drunk drivers. That doesn't make their widows experts on driving, drinking, or foreign policy.
I also got tired fast of the 9/11 victims expecting large cash settlements. Isn't a woman whose husband is killed driving home just as full of grief as Kristen? So why do the 9/11 widows get millions?
And Ann's point, 'tho overpowered by her choice of words, was correct. These widows have every right to enter the debate, as long as it IS a debate. Instead, they expect their victimhood to give their policy suggestions a free pass.

I do think Ann went to far Sorry Mr. (Public Skool) Rogers ..... I stopped when you wrote "to far".
Back to skool for you.
But I'm actually glad that you have the sensibility to see that Ann did go too far.
Let's just all go for the facts in the future.

I also got tired fast of the 9/11 victims expecting large cash settlements. You're right!
Ask all the people in Oklahoma City who are familiar with Jayna Davis' excellent work how they feel not to get some type of "settlements" like these 9/11 folks.
I really think we agree quite a bit, Mr. R.

And...... if truth be known about 'Flight 800' ....... there would be a great deal more people asking for what these 9/11 "victims" have received.
Mr. Rogers............ you are living up to that excellent name very well!
