Hi Eleni, you're in Buffalo area, right? My dad was telling me about this guy, all over the news in Rochester I guess. I thought he was American Indian? I figured if that was the case he would never be found, and would probably be somewhere in Canada by now.

Watching the news conference. This Wayne Bennett, the State Police superintendent looks like John Wayne and the guy from Walking Tall....all rolled into one!

I love the state trooper outfits. The PA troopers rock! Gosh I'm just in a real Hooray for good guys mood tonight.....trying to take my mind off the 5th year anniv. of 9/11...that is..until Monday. Bad boys bad boys whatcha gonna do?

I'm really surprised that this guy allowed himself to be taken alive, with the reports of how much he was determined not to go back to jail.
Troopers and whoever else helped, did their job. Question though, how come some of the troopers are so fat? What happened? When I was in my twenties, NYS Troopers stopped me on a couple of occasions, once because my purse fell on the floor, I bent over to pick it up, swerved a little while trooper was coming in opposite direction. He saw that I wasn't under the influence, believed my story about the purse, warned me against such stupidity, but did not give me a ticket. But, when he came walking towards the car, he was impressive. Don't know if standards were higher, but with his mountie hat on, he looked about 6'4, and fit as a fiddle.
Very disappointing. Should have been dead, no investigation needed.
Constitutional law is not Criminal Law and the penal code.. It's unfortunate the NY Supreme Court justices missed that lecture.

Many states have (had) to alter their standards in the name of diversity and non-discimination. After all,anyone can pull a trigger or write a citation.And Americans in general are fat.Look at the people in the grocery,the mall, the theater,and at home.
I wonder if there were too many officers there ?Maybe if he saw only a few he would have tried to fight and ,for once,a Swat shooter could have been well employed.
