Freedom is not for everyone, this guy is a classic example. One cop dead and two wounded. Hope this guy never comes to trial.

The "newsies" just now released information I've known about since the beginning ~ this guy is part Indian.

Historically Western New York in this area is pretty nearly all owned by folks who descend from the original pre-Revolutionary population. They are: French fur traders, Dutch fur traders, Oneida Indians, Mohican Indians and Brotherton Indians.

There are others near the area, but these guys don't have a reservation ~ they just live there like other Americans, with land titles, and so forth.

However, there are "traditionalists". I'm thinking this Bucky is such an individual. He was "raised in the woods", and he killed that trooper and wounded two others in a very casual fashion just like he was dealing with wild game ~ meat ~ so to speak.

If you ever read the Leatherstocking series you know this guy from the characters of Hawkeye, Chingachgook, Uncas and Magua, but all wrapped up into one!

Is he coming out alive? I have no idea, but by now his vision quest has probably given him a pathway which will be followed faithfully to the end.

He's a man out of time with nothing left to do in the modern world but to live a life like his ancestors, something we now deem to be crimes.

The people who come into contact with him must be very careful ~ more careful than they've ever been in their lives.
