Well, it is not genetic. The current political Taft, Governor of Ohio, is certainly no conservative (but definitely a buffoon).
As you canb tell from my screen name, Mr Republican is one of my political heroes.
The Taft political dynasty is actually longer than that of the Kennedys, having begun in Vermont in the eighteenth century. However, it may finally be coming to a close--on a sour note.
