Cindy Sheehan Writes of Wanting to Kill President Bush in New Book

In her new book due out Sept. 19, "Peace Mom," Cindy Sheehan writes of her fantasies of killing President Bush.

Sheehan, whose son Army Spc. Casey Sheehan was killed in Iraq in April, 2004, couches her desire for the murder of the President by saying she wishes she could go back in time and kill George Bush as an infant in order to prevent the Iraq war.

Sheehan has been trying for over a year to meet with President Bush, but to no avail. She met with the President once in 2004 shortly after her son gave his life in Iraq. Since that cordial meeting, Sheehan has allied herself with anti-American leftists. Last year she called foreign terrorists in Iraq "freedom fighters," a sobriquet she has also given to the Iranian-allied Iraqi jihadists who killed her son.

A person just can't say this in a representative government. It's not a matter of free speech. The President represents every citizen in the country, regardless of whether or not we agree with any given policy.

For Sheehan to posit this trash is exactly the same as writing she wishes she could have killed all of us.

Someone should send this to the proper authorities and say "ok, guys, there you have it. Now take it away. DO YOUR JOB!!"

I believe she saw an opportunity to become a celebrity and is loving every single moment of it. She is too happy and filled with joy at the sight of the cameras to be be filled with hate.

Sheehan wrote she fantasizes about murdering George Bush and calls terrorists freedom fighters. But we're "ugly, mean and nasty" for reporting this? Strange world.

Don't play innocent. She dreamt of being able to kill the baby George Bush before he could become President. That is a long way from your title, even though her mental state is fragile enough to be wary of her proximity to anyone in the administration.

She isn't ugly mean and nasty, she's nuts. You're just throwing out red meat to the choir and it does not reflect well on the upcoming celebration in DC.

Tone your rhetoric down a smidge and people might acutally accord you the status you so arrogantly project. In short, a lot of folks are tired of your act in DC, and since I have to be there the next couple of weeks I would hate to have to defend you.
