The new chairman of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Dale Klein, indicated that since U.S. demand for electricity remains strong, nuclear power generation is once again a serious option. What cave has this jerk been hiding in for the last 30 years. It takes YEARS to build a nuke plant. Don't these fools understan planning?

"It takes YEARS to build a nuke plant."
Just what does this rant mean?
If we started 20 nuclear plants, they would be complete in 5 years and we could provide electrical power to 80% of the population.
(my figures, others may differ)
