VENICE (Reuters) - Top directors used the Venice Film Festival on Friday to excoriate the Bush administration, the war in Iraq and Hollywood itself, and presented three starkly different movies to express their views.

Oliver Stone, in the canal city for the European promotion of "World Trade Center", said he was worried about when, if ever, the "war on terror" would end.

"Many of us are concerned that it could get worse," he told reporters after a screening of his film, which has already been released in the United States.

"I think things have gotten very dark," he said. "The consequences of 9/11 are worse than the day itself.

So Oliver why don't you go and ask Bin Laden and Co. what it would take to stop this war?

Let the Europeans, Asians, etc., pass their proposed regulations in the UN that basically allowing them to ban Hollywood movies in the name of culture. Then, the Hollywood film makers will start to cry...

Worse for whom? The terrorists? How is having mauled Al Qaeda and put them into near ruin worse than 9-11?? That's a beautiful thing moron! THIS is why I won't spend a dime on gapped-tooth's 9-11 movie. It was just a con job to get us into theaters and to get conservatives' money. He can't make a living selling movies to liberal dopes like himself, he knows that.

"Oliver Stone, in the canal city for the European promotion of "World Trade Center", said he was worried about when, if ever, the "war on terror" would end."

And fatalism about it only tosses gas on the fire and enables the terrorists just that more.

You have to ask why Stone never showed the root cause for 9/11
the Islamofacists.

He's cold and calculating ultra leftist. Why should he worry ?
No one is asking him to put his but on the line nor
would he be needed.

My God this man is so clueless.

"Many of us are concerned that it could get worse"

Of course it's going to get worse doofus. We're in a war against a 1500 year old ideology for our very lives against a cult that glorifies death.

The article names THREE directors to represent "European directors"--which in itself is a load of crap.

1. Oliver Stone is infamous for his anti-U.S. attitude. No news there.

2. Paul Verhoeven, a Dutchman, is one of the more porno, woman-hating directors I've ever had the misfortune to encounter. He REVELS in horrid gratuitous violence ONLY because he knows it sells. He smells as bad as his Dutch cheese.
No news there.
HE was "disillusioned" with Sleazywood. Harhar. Look what pot (Pun intended.) is calling the kettle black.

The European directors, all TWO of them, (not Europeans) are self-absorbed, egocentric, porno-mongering, amoral, God/Christ-hating buffoons.

3. Spike Lee -- an AMERICAN director, self-absorbed, egocentric, America-hating, Sleazywoodian and often racist.

He's no better than the two aforementioned director morons who, because the are DIRECTORS -- appropriate fanfare for the self-proclaimed kings here -- think that their s*** doesn't stink.
Well, it does; always did; always will.

And "Black Hawk Down" was ridiculed in the article. Stone is an imbecile.

"Many of us are concerned that it could get worse,"

They are concerned it could get worse and hate Bush because he won't kiss terrorist butt and beg them not to be mean to us.

Consider the source. Anything from "Reuters terrorism inc." is anti American, pro terrorist propaganda.
Has anyone ever seen Reuters publish anything on the news wire that shows what daily life is like living in an Islamic country?

Have they ever filmed the weekly hand chopping, which is done on the street in from of children, the victim sentenced and punishment pronounced by the Local Imam? How about the public stonings of women? Hanging faggots? Sure, in MAJOR Islamic cities this isn't seen so often, but in just about every backwater village it is, and these are places where these Reuters' hired "local journalists" are often living. It's long past the time where the WORLD stands up to this media fraud that has been going on for decades, media hiding the TRUTH of what is going on in the world, the bloody Islamic crusade that is, and has been sweeping the world for decades now. The blood rituals that are carried out each and every week in these little villages that live under the rule of "the religion of peace".

Nuking Sleazywood would be a good idea, as long as Gibson, Tom Selleck and others like them, are FAR, FAR away.
That's the problem with the nuke. They kill the good too.
Actually, bombs of any kind are indicriminate.

However, if you prescribe to the philosophy of the world's largest mass murderers and monsters, that is, Mao and Stalin, that wouldn't matter. Nukes would be their choice today.
THOSE two, neither Muslim, were fascists, that is, communists. They were even worse in that they were athiests and didn't believe in private ownership.
They DID believe in world domination.
The latter actually killed more Jews than Hitler.
But, they BOTH specialized in murdering their own.

Hey, I just remembered, Sleazywood had TONS of commies.
Maybe your idea is good after all. Just warn the "good guys" to get outta Dodge.

"Many of us are concerned that it could get worse," and we're all going to that happy land where there is no terror. That would be, well, hmmmm, lemme think about that.

"THOSE two, neither Muslim, were fascists, that is, communists."

True, but the ideology is the same. They are both totalitarian cults, only Islam uses religion as a disguise, which makes weak knee'd PC liberals too afraid to expose it for the fraud of a religion it is.

That's a question you should ask of the Islamic Fascists, Oliver!  What an ego on this guy, to imply that it should have started getting better day one.
