Found something interesting yesterday:
Kerry Exploring Cabinet Options
An excerpt:
A dark-horse candidate for defense, some said, is Richard L. Armitage, Bush's second in command at the State Department.
Remember...many of the players involved worked for the Kerry campaign. Could Armitage have sold his soul for a potential Cabinet position?

Could Armitage have sold his soul for a potential Cabinet position? There was quite a bit of that going on.

Also from the article you linked:
Jamie S. Gorelick, a member of the Sept. 11 commission, is also mentioned as a possible replacement for John D. Ashcroft.
It is useful, with midterm elections coming up, to recall what a large number of bullets we dodged by keeping dems out of the White House.

Armitage sold his sould long before Kerry approached him...that's why Kerry APPROACHED him because he KNEW The Dick is a DEMocrat Snake.
BUT, I still think The Dick is covering for The Colin.
