Wonder if Ben Stevens is related to Sen. Ted Stevens (who I believe Brit revealed quashed a bill that would bring public access to a govt. database tonight) ?

First Congressional offices in precincts formerly off limits to them, and now state legislative offices ~ don't you guys see that the FBI is simply practicing before it undertakes a coup'd'etat?

I hope you just forgot your sarcasm tag. The FBI couldn't even pull off a covert assasination of a family at Ruby Ridge fifteen years ago, and now they're going to run the country?

and don't forget they couldn't even burn up a bunch of women and children at Waco without military help.

I didn't say they'd be successful ~ which, as all of us at FR know, they never can be ~ just that they were practicing!

Agreed. Further evidence of this was when they decided they were too wimpy to handle a full powered 10mm pistol and gave impetus to the .40 S&W (that's for Short and Weak).

I'll admit a .40 is a good upgrade in a 9mm pistol, sort of like the old .41 Action Express with better bullet selection.....but I digress.....

Thats because the FBI wasn't responsible for the burning. They were responsible for shooting the people as they tried to escape the fire. They handled that part pretty well.

It was the ATF that was responsible for the burning of women and children.

I was hoping someone would post this news. It was on the ADN (Anchorage Daily News) website this afternoon. I turned on KTUU tonight but they didn't have any additional information either. Things that make you go, hmmmmmmmmmmm.

Thank you for posting this, BlueMoose. bttt

They would hit pay-dirt if the FBI started out in Louisiana then up to New Jersey and then drop down the Maryland.

Agents were conducting office searches in both Juneau and Anchorage belonging to Sen. John Cowdery, R-Anchorage, the Senate Rules chairman.

Cowdery stood by in his Anchorage office as agents searched.

The offices of Senate President Ben Stevens, R-Anchorage; Rep. Vic Kohring, R-Wasilla; Rep. Bruce Weyhrauch, R-Juneau; Sen. Donald Olson, D-Nome; and Rep. Pete Kott, R-Eagle River were also part of the raid.

Looks like the oil companies got went over the line.

Since an oil company isn't mentioned, how did you make that jump?

Thanks, thackney. I just read that update. Our son was offered a job at VECO last year. He turned it down...mostly because he's a young man who wants to have a "life" and not live with a bunch of other guys in the middle of nowhere. LOL

"don't you guys see that the FBI is simply practicing before it undertakes a coup'd'etat?"

With what we now have in Congress, it might not be a bad thing.
