On the five year anniversary of the tragic events at the Pentagon, the twin towers in New York City, and Shanksville, Pennsylvania, the America Supports You Freedom Walk begins a new national tradition to reflect on the lives lost on September 11, renew our commitment to freedom and the values of our country and honor our veterans, past and present.

Freedom Walks are being held in cities large and small across the country. Washington, D.C. is hosting the second annual America Supports You Freedom Walk on the eve of September 11.

For those of you that want to counter the nut jobs, here’s an opportunity. America Supports you: Freedom Walk is being held in 99 cities in 42 states. That was good for well over 17,000 views. However, it doesn't really translate into much in the way of actual participation. Once folks click on the link, they laugh about it, and then leave anyway.

And people wonder why I'm cynical about conservatives actually doing more than chatter on the Web.
