My charge that you are using guilt by association hold true. The Democrats are leveling the charge of hypocracy. Hypocrisy is a tactic to wedge voters away from their candidate. When guilt by association techniques are used, we can say that it is B.S. and focus our attention on the messenger.

There is a difference between comparing and contrasting a candidate and attacking them with democrat talking points.

When the dems jumped on rudy for what they said was his 'fake' 9/11 leadership, we didn't jump on and bash him, we attack democrats as a bunch of hacks.

When the dems jumped on romney for his tar baby comment, we didn't attack romney as gaffe prone/not ready for prime time/racist. We called it out for a silly comment that democrats overreacted to.

When the dems jumped on Allen for the macaca comment, which is just clearly nothing, rudy and romney fans jumped on allen as not ready for primetime/closet racist/etc. It's silly that nobody has even bothered to point out the fact that the supposed racist word is "macacque" (pronounce muhcawk).
