That recommendation would draw a racial discrimination suit before the ink on it dried if someone made it in the States.
Just curious - wonder why they only mention obese in the title and not the underweight, since underweight is also mentioned in the article.
Fertility bran?
Who's next on the liberal hit list?

If what I just wrote made you sad or angry,
it was probably just a joke.
I thought "obesity" was self perpetuating.......
What they DON'T address in the typical 'fat people are stupid' vein, is that ALOT of the women who are having fertility problems AND are obese most likely have Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome. A disease that CAUSES obesity as well as infertility.
If they treated one, they would probably rectify the other.
But doctors are Gods and all they have to do to absolve themselves of any responsibility or good doctoring is say "Diet and exercise". Unfortunately, there are medical reasons that make it difficult, if not impossible for some (not all of course) to lose weight even with Diet and Exercise. I was eating 900 calories a day and walking two miles four to five times a week and managed to lose a whopping 10 lbs in four months. I hear other people say they got sick and lost 10 lbs in a week. People's bodies ARE different, but it's ok to hate fat people so don't bother having an understanding or compassion for them.
British scientists demand "unclean/clean" caste system be created.

Is this paid for by public funds? I really can't imagine that GB would try and prevent women of any size who could pay for their own treatment.
Something has to be done. God knows what, though. I know a family where the grown children are obese. The daughter has five kids and a hernia that's torn her abdomen muscles and her organs are all falling out to one side, not where they should be. (Sorry for graphic descrip.) She's a candidate for gastric bypass surgery, and frankly, without it, she's a goner. Five kids. Who will raise them if she dies? The state. Her mother is way overweight and dabbles in dieting to no avail. Her brother smokes, is huge, coughs like mad, and is diabetic. Thirty-one years old. Another family....the thirtyish son, obese, heavy smoker...had a massive stroke recently. His eyes are open now, after weeks and weeks of unconsciousness. God knows how he'll do. One nurse said dismissively, "Oh, he's smoker? Might as well pull the plug." The rest of the staff at the rehabilitation center are kind.)
To me, obesity seems to be within the control of the obese. I agree that there certainly are genetic and metabolic differences between people; for example, an identical 1500 calorie per day diet may cause one person to gain weight and another person to lose weight. However, there would seem to be some appropriate caloric intake that, for the weight gainer, would lead to long term weight loss.
In my opinion, a high percentage (not all) of obesity cases are due to lack of will power.
At that point only the Muslim women would have babies.
I've heard that many athletes are considered obese based on some sort of formula. Maybe I'm obese and don't know it. I wioll say I'm not as fat as these two.
Anyone who eats Cheetos with grape soda should be banned from fertility treatments
Obesity has become quite an industry for some. Each year they manage to change the definition for obesity so that they can included more and more people in their stats. As to the ban on fertility treatments for fat women, maybe a ban on the skinny, the stupid and the twisted would also be in order.
