I searched on "Francisco" and found only one thread.
Yet another thing you'd never, ever hear in the MSM. I was totally unaware, and no report even hinted at a possible cause. This infuriates me.
I listen to Savage. I enjoy his program. It just ticks me off that he has to be so wacky sometimes. Savage makes it easy for the MSM to marginalize him, even though he is more direct, and often more on point than anyone in the MSM.
I wonder how many disaffected, small-time Jihadists there might be in the U.S. But, of course, that this guy might be Muslim would have nothing to do with his plowing into a crowd of people.
You know, I hadn't seen this yet.

I happened to catch a story on one of the networks this morning. They claimed that his name and motives were unknown. I thought to myself "Well that's odd. Little ole me in backwoods Michigan knows the guy's name in an hour but a multibillion dollar network doesn't".

Don't jump to conclusions... I wasn't being the posting police... there were a lot of interesting discussions on those other threads... I thought that since the poster of this thread was interested in this topic and hadn't seen the other threads, it would be nice to refer him (and others folks like you) to previous discussions and see other people's perspectives on this event.

for due diligence, I usually do two keyword searches and two title searches.
And I still sometimes end up posting a duplicate (or a functional duplicate)
Personally I don't mind multiple threads (within reason) but I will occasionally point out that there are other threads just in case the poster is interested.
I first heard this from Savage last evening too. I wasn't able to follow the story much after that, but I heard mention of it on ABC Radio this morning, and about their only comment was information they got from someone who knew him -- he's a nice man who has been having bad dreams lately and thinks the Devil is after him.
Michael Savage did not reveal his name. The cops did, and it was splashed all over FR yesterday. The MSM will ignore this terrorist the best they can, but Michael Savage likes to pretend he is the only one. It was all over the blogosphere as well.

Gee, with that kind of good natured reply, how could I ever suspect you of being part of the posting police?

I think it was more a matter of trying to correct misinformation than a "posting police" situation.
