You can never be too liberal for California voters. Hogwash! I'm a California voter. You are a California voter. There are millions of registered Rebpublican voters. I can find a slew of legislators that are too liberal--in fact, the majority--can't you?
Why? If we were in the majority - you'd be right. But most Californians keep electing liberal Democrats to statewide office and there are Democratic majorities in the Legislature and Congressional delegation. So unless the political math changes, California will remain tilted to the Left.
