How about this for a translation into real-world speak:

Just simply go back to your own faith in which you praticed because that was no conversion, the one under the threat of death. If the reporters are Christian, simply repent of leaving the Christian faith and return to its pratice.
More humiliation for the West. I wonder if we'll ever get the chance to convert a few of THEM to Christianity? Maybe preceded by a nice pork and sauerkraut dinner? And followed by a nice videotaped beheading.... something all the rest of the Islamoanimals could enjoy. Nah, we'd rather leave our kids bowing to Sharia law than to stoop to such low levels.
